Colleges in the United Kingdom have two main entry dates:

Students can apply for either of these. Some schools in the UK may also have entry dates in April or October.

The main entry requirement for undergraduate courses is completion of the 'A' levels or the equivalent- Pakistan's Intermediate course in Commerce, Arts, Science or Humanities. Other than this, a strong score in the IELTS is also necessary. In order to be convinced that you can afford the costs, a college can ask you to provide financial documentation that proves that you are in a position to pay the fees and the living expenses

Educational institutions in the United Kingdom are reasonably priced with tuition starting at 2000 pounds per year at most smaller colleges which run Diploma courses that lead up to a University degree. The better schools will charge up to 5000 pounds and more tuition per year for the above courses and conventional courses. Universities may charge much more.

UK degrees can take only three years and postgraduate Master's courses only one year - compared with four years and two years in most other countries. This means a student will save a great deal on both tuition fees and living costs - and will be able to start working and earning money sooner. UK degree courses are shorter because they are more intensive, and are more efficient in terms of money and time.

You are allowed to work while you are studying in the U.K. However, the legal amount of time one is allowed to work per week is in no way enough to cover all the expenses in the U.K.

The legal limit for part time work for foreign students in the U.K. is 20 hours per week. However, during holidays, students are allowed to work 40 hours a week as long as it does not hamper their studies.

The UK requires an entrance tests except an English language proficiency test. Students whose first language is not English are required to take the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) which is administered at the British Council. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is also accepted in lieu of the IELTS.
